An InfuseRx employee will let you know if InfuseRx is unable to fulfill the medication request. If you cannot obtain a medication at InfuseRx due to insurance restrictions or availability of the medication, one of our pharmacists or experienced staff members will work with you and another pharmacy to ensure you receive your medication.

Our standard processing time at InfuseRx is 24-48 hours. If processing time is delayed longer than 48 hours, we will contact you to notify you of your options so that you don’t go without your medication. You may also contact us anytime to check the status of your prescription.

An InfuseRx employee will immediately let you know if there are any issues that may delay fulfillment such as prior authorizations or quantity limits imposed by your insurance company. InfuseRx employees will work with you and your physician to get any prior authorizations completed as quickly as possible. If your insurance company will not allow a quantity override due to unforeseen circumstances, an InfuseRx employee will help determine the best way to get the medication you require.

Medications are sent via our in-house delivery driver or FedEx. Priority Overnight is available and may be required for some medications.

Prescriptions are shipped Monday through Friday for any non-temperature sensitive or refrigerated medications. Refrigerated items are shipped only for next day delivery.

Some medications will require your signature for delivery. An InfuseRx staff member will coordinate with you to schedule the most convenient delivery time to ensure your availability to sign for the prescription.

Patients are asked to contact InfuseRx via phone if a delivery has been delayed and you did not receive it as scheduled.

Patients are also asked to contact InfuseRx if the scheduled delivery is missed or will be missed due to changes in your schedule so that we can work with the courier to reschedule the delivery.
